Production Assembler - 2nd Shift

1+ Year – On Site – Full-Time

Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, is seeking a Production Assembler, 2nd Shift. In this role, you are responsible for assembling mechanical, electrical, and/or optical parts through hand tools or fixturing, soldering electrical components and working with manufacturing engineering and production line leadership to meet production goals. 

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 1:00 am, and every other Friday, 3:30 pm – 12:00 am

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electronics and opto-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework with minimal supervision.
  • Perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Follow standard operating instructions (SOPs), including work instructions, assembly instructions, process flows, and/or test plans.
  • Perform in-process inspections and raise concerns as required.
  • Provide support to resolve production flow issues.
  • Work closely with engineers and management to meet production goals.
  •  Other production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Assembly experience in electronics assembly, mechanical assembly, or optical assembly.
  • Basic understanding of general/common hand tools.
  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, managing time efficiently.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive when priorities change.
  • Ability to work alone and with others, with self-motivation and a can-do attitude.
  • High school diploma or GED with 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hand soldering experience considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment considered a plus.
  • Ability to move up to 25 pounds.
