Envision Timeline

Envision is a small business headquartered in Manchester, New Hampshire, which was founded in 2019 on the principles of listening to the user’s needs, developing innovative products with an understanding of those needs, and employing a streamlined development and manufacturing approach.  We are unencumbered by bureaucracy, and recognize that our success relies on the mission success of our end users.  Envision is agile, responsive, and staffed with electro-optical and unmanned systems subject matter experts who possess extensive experience in the tactical application of battlefield systems and subsystems.

Press Releases

2019:

September: Founded in Manchester, NH in a 5,000 square foot mixed-use facility with a handful of employees.
December: Envision receives its first contract, a small order from the US Army C5ISR center for the prototype of a lightweight reconnaissance system.

2021:

June: Envision makes its first prototype delivery of the Miniature Advanced Rangefinder System – Light (MARS-L).
September: Envision doubles its footprint to 10,000 square feet

2022:

December: Envision is awarded two Phase 2 SBIR contracts (Miniature Aiming Ranging Laser and Squad Aiming Laser (Ultra High Power) with USSOCOM and had increased its headcount to 25 employees.

2023:

June: Envision begins full rate production on MARS.
September: Envision establishes an unmanned systems (UMS) team and leases an additional 7,000 square feet of R&D space.

2024:

September: Envision is awarded a 5-year, $81M IDIQ contract by USSOCOM for the Ranging Aiming Laser (RAL).
December: Envision relocates its headquarters to a 32,000 square foot facility at 100 William Loeb Drive in Manchester to expand its development and production capacity.
December: Envision is awarded two additional Phase 2 SBIR contracts (VAS Range Finder and PNT for Target Acquisition) with USSOCOM and had increased its headcount to 60 employees.

2025:

February: Envision is awarded a 5-year, $249M IDIQ contract by the US Marine Corps for the Squad Aiming Laser (SAL).
December: Envision is selected for Tranche 1.1 of the US Army’s Purpose Built Attritable System (PBAS) effort.
December: Envision is awarded two additional Phase II SBIR contracts (Thermal Reflect Sight and Digital Projection Close Quarters Sight).

2026:

January: Employee headcount surpassed 125 and facility footprint has reached 55,000 square feet, with thousands of EO/IR systems delivered to customers in over a dozen countries.
