Position Summary
As a Production Team Lead, you will primarily be responsible for supporting one or more production teams engaged in the manufacture of electro-optical systems. Working alongside a collaborative team, you will help develop and deliver the high quality products and innovative solutions that define Envision Technology.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-1:00am and Friday 2:30pm – 11pm (Every other Friday off!)
Responsibilities:
- Develop daily production targets and clearly communicate production plan to all team members.
- Monitor daily throughput and address any shortfalls to daily production plan.
- Update and maintain Production Status boards and attend daily standup meetings.
- Function as the subject matter expert for all operations on assigned production lines and be capable of performing any operation.
- Ensure all team members are properly trained and proficient at assigned operations.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to provide additional training as needed.
- Conduct a daily walkthrough inspecting all work areas for cleanliness; assist team in 5S and FOD protocols and be an exemplary role model.
- Verify all required materials and supplies are available and inform Supply Chain and Production Supervisor of any shortfalls.
- Support the Production Supervisor with the completion of administrative tasks, such as filling out logs, creation of shipment documentation, processing scrap tickets, scanning paperwork and completing inventories.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 – 4 years prior experience in manufacturing assembly operations.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple activities at once.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Successful candidates will be very familiar with Word, Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with Visio and PowerPoint is a plus.
- Strong motivational skills to drive self and team to meet goals and objectives of programs with ability to grow into a leadership role.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Infor Visual, a plus.
- Certified to perform hand-soldering operations, a plus.
- Able to move up to 25lbs.
