Position Summary

As a Director of Marketing & Communication, you will primarily be responsible for the development and execution of strategic marketing, communications, and brand initiatives that support corporate growth objectives. Working alongside a collaborative team, you will help develop and deliver the high quality products and innovative solutions that define Envision Technology.

As we continue to expand our market presence and product portfolio, we are seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing, communications, and brand initiatives that support corporate growth objectives. This individual will play a critical role in strengthening Envision Technology’s market position, enhancing customer engagement, supporting business development efforts, and driving awareness of our innovative products and capabilities across the defense and security sectors.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on leader with a strong understanding of defense industry marketing, customer engagement, and brand management. Working closely with executive leadership, business development, product management, and engineering teams, this individual will develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies that increase brand visibility, support pipeline growth, and reinforce Envision Technology’s reputation as a trusted provider of mission-critical technologies.

Responsibilities:

            Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Collaborating with Business Development, Sales, Product Management, and strategic partners to develop and execute integrated marketing and communications strategies that support revenue growth, pipeline development, and customer engagement. Prepare and deliver marketing & sales presentations internally and externally to prospective clients.
  • Developing and execute corporate communications strategies that strengthen Envision Technology’s brand, reputation, and market position.
  • Leading internal and external communications efforts, including press releases, customer announcements, product launches, and executive messaging.
  • Developing products positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for current and future product offerings.
  • Translating technical product capabilities into customer-focused marketing materials and value propositions.
  • Managing company website content, SEO strategy, CRM marketing tools, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Attending industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Envision products as necessary.
  • Developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies to promote products/services across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
  • Leading the planning, budgeting, execution, and post-event assessment of industry trade shows, conferences, demonstrations, and customer engagement events.
  • Supporting Business Development and Capture teams through the development of proposal graphics, messaging, customer-facing content, white papers, capability statements, RFIs, RFQs, and proposal submissions.
  • Establishing and tracking marketing KPIs including lead generation, customer engagement, digital performance, event ROI, brand awareness, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Providing regular reporting and strategic recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Creating engaging content, including blog posts, emails, social media updates, and promotional materials, to enhance brand visibility.
  • Leading, Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed with the leadership team members.
  • Conducting market research to identify new trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
  • Developing and manage email marketing campaigns.
  • Developing and editing videos, images and graphics to support brand & product awareness, proposal development and other marketing needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressively responsible marketing, communications, business development, or related experience, with at least 3 years supporting the defense, aerospace, government contracting, or military markets.
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional teams, managing projects, and coordinating marketing initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of the U.S. Department of Defense acquisition process, federal contracting environment, and defense industry trade organizations.
  • Experience developing marketing materials for technical products, military systems, defense electronics, optics, sensors, or related technologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, website content management systems, analytics platforms, and social media management tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, able to multi-task
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro.
  • Ability to move up to 25 pounds.
  • Travel up to 40%

  • Frequent travel is expected as part of this role.
