Position Summary
The HR Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department and contributes to the efficient operation of HR processes. This role is responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, supporting benefits administration, coordinating HR events, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The HR Assistant interacts with employees at all levels and serves as a reliable resource for HR-related inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Support the onboarding process by preparing documentation, organizing orientation sessions, and ensuring timely completion of required forms.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and responding to employee questions.
• Prepare HR correspondence, reports, and documentation as requested.
• Assist in planning and coordinating HR-related events such as employee appreciation activities, training sessions, recognition programs, and company-wide meetings.
• Support HR programs, communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, filing, and managing HR documentation.
Required Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
