Logistics Specialist

5+ Years – On Site – Full-Time

Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, seeks a Logistics Specialist skilled in Acquisition Logistics.  In this role, you will be the primary liaison for the customer to resolve issues, answer questions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for customers with technical issues or questions and ensure customers receive timely and accurate responses.
  • Comfortable and capable of interfacing directly with customers in a professional manner both in person, over the phone and in written communication.
  • Issue Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) to customers in support of warranty or non-warranty returns.
  • Develop New Equipment Training (NET) packages and deliver NET training to customers, which may include classroom training and/or practical applications.
  • Provide input on technical product documentation such as users manuals, to ensure clarity to the end user.
  • Support live-fire testing and training of weapon-mounted products; capable of safely handling firearms and ammunition as well as executing test plans and documenting results.
  • Capable to troubleshoot and repair electro-optical systems at customer locations.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or, in lieu of degree, specific formal training in the use of and maintenance of electro-optical systems.
  • Military experience as MOS 2171, 94F, 3P0X1, 18B with background on repairing electro-optical systems is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience to complex electro-optical systems for military applications.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration and test.
  • Creative thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills during planning and execution of programs.
  • Utilization of proactive data analysis skills required to evaluate metrics to provide informed decision making for programs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to interact with customers, suppliers, and other external personnel.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Security Clearance a plus.
